WNAM Monitoring: The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the city of Arkadag, where he got acquainted with the preparations for the New Year celebrations, including the organization of holiday trade, the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper writes today.
The head of the highest body of people’s power of Turkmenistan visited a number of shopping facilities in the city of national importance, in particular, the Gökdere shopping center, where a wide range of goods are presented that meet the modern needs of citizens. As noted, the center has established a system of e-commerce and home delivery of goods.
Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty emphasized the importance of introducing digital technologies into all spheres of life and increasing relevant skills among the population. He also gave instructions to expand the practice of e-commerce and delivery of goods in other cities of Turkmenistan.
In addition, the National Leader of the Turkmen people held a working meeting on the construction of facilities within the second phase of the city of Arkadag. He emphasized the importance of taking environmental aspects into account when constructing new buildings and structures.
At the end of the visit, the head of the highest body of people’s power of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, ordered that New Year’s celebrations in the city of Arkadag be organized at a high level.
