WNAM MONITORING: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to President of Azerbayjan Ilham Aliyev on his birthday. In his letter, the Turkmen leader expressed sincere congratulations and best wishes for health and happiness to the president of Azerbayjan, as well as peace, prosperity, and flourishing for the brotherly people of Azerbaijan, as reported by the press service of the President of Azerbayjan on Friday.
“Today, under your leadership, Azerbayjan confidently moves toward strengthening statehood and socio-economic development,” noted Serdar Berdimuhamedov in his message. He emphasized the importance of the traditionally friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Azerbayjan, based on the principles of equality, mutual respect, and trust, and expressed confidence that these ties will continue to develop and strengthen for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
The President of Turkmenistan also wished Ilham Aliyev strong health and happiness, while wishing peace, prosperity, and flourishing for the brotherly people of Azerbayjan. Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted that the relations between Turkmenistan and Azerbayjan remain a crucial aspect of cooperation and will continue to contribute to stability and prosperity in the region.
Ilham Aliyev was born on December 24, 1961, in Baku. He has served as president of Azerbayjan since 2003.
