Baku: WNAM MONITORING: Memorial corners were set up at the Azerbaijan Houses abroad, to commemorate those who died in the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane, operating a flight from Baku to Grozny, near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan.
According to the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, Azerbaijani compatriots living in Austria, Finland, Spain, Canada, Hungary, Greece, and other countries visit the Azerbaijani Houses in these countries to place carnations at the memorial corners. They light candles, honor the memory of the deceased, and wish a swift recovery to the injured.
Azerbaijanis living abroad demonstrate their firm solidarity with the nation and the state on such a tragic day.
