WNAM REPORT: Ambassador of Kazakhstan Madiyar Menilbekov met with Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef Al Saud.
During the meeting, parties discussed the key areas of cooperation in the law enforcement sphere, as well as the possibilities for its further development.
Ambassador Menilbekov informed about the wide range of reforms being carried out in Kazakhstan, including state measures in the field of protecting the interests of citizens, ensuring public safety, returning state property and assets, etc.
The Arab Minister noted the positive dynamics of Kazakh-Saudi relations and expressed readiness for comprehensive cooperation by studying the existing capabilities of the two countries, as well as developing specific proposals.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to establish closer ties within the framework of the agreements signed between the countries on the extradition and transfer of convicted persons.
As previously stated, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a meeting with the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud early December.
