America has always been running with the hare and hunting with the hounds. It has been its standard foreign policy if one remembers correctly. Whenever, any act of terrorism occurs any where in the world it lays its blame squarely on the shoulders of those militant groups which were its own creations, so very few people in the world now take its statements without a pinch of salt. On the recent episode of terrorism in New Orleans the FBI first said it wasn’t the handiwork of the culprit solely who was killed in the said incident but immediately came out with another explanation resiling from its in early explanation. Which of these two versions should one believe, no body knows.
POSTSCRIPT:
In the not too distant past a French ambassador in Congo who fancied hunting was on an hunting expedition in a jungle when he saw a crowd of cannibals coming towards him. He thought that probably they were coming towards him to greet him. On coming near to him they slaughtered and ate him. When the French government came to know of it Congolese government was fined heavily to which it replied to the French government that it was bankrupt and not in a position to pay the fine so it won’t mind if its ambassador in France was slaughtered as in this way its fine could be recovered.
On this analogy wouldn’t it be a bad idea if the property and bank balances of those Pakistanis who had earned them by indulging in corrupt financial practices are confiscated and put to open suction and adjusting the suction amount against our loans.
