WNAM REPORT: On January 13-17, Astana hosted the 21st International Zhautykov Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science.
Almost 700 students from 20 countries attended it.
The Uzbekistan national team showed high results: two gold, five silver, and 12 bronze medals. The 11th grader of the Artel Technical School, Asadbek Boboqulov, and the 10th grader of the Muhammad al-Khwarizmi Specialized IT School, Elbek Zohidjonov, became gold medalists.
According to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the Uzbekistan national team won 14 medals at this Olympiad last year.
It is worth reminding that the team is in the Top 3 of the XXI International Zhautykov Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics and Informatics.
