WNAM REPORT: Veteran of the Great Patriotic War Koshek Soltanmyradov, a resident of the city of Gubadag, Boldumsaz etrap, Dashoguz velayat, celebrated his 100th birthday. In honor of this significant event, he was congratulated by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as relatives and friends, the newspaper reports.
The venerable Yashuli has five sons and three daughters, fifteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Koshek Soltanmyradov went to the front in 1943, when he was only 18 years old. He participated in many battles, demonstrating courage and bravery, for which he was awarded numerous orders and medals. After the war, he worked in law enforcement for a long time.
At the ceremonial event, the jubilee was congratulated by employees of the velayat khyakimlik, leaders and representatives of the Dashoguz velayat union of trade unions, city and velayat committees of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan. He was presented with valuable gifts and bouquets of flowers. The veteran often communicates with young people, calling on them to love the Motherland and contribute to its prosperity.
In an interview with the Koshek newspaper, Soltanmyradov noted that Turkmenistan pays great attention to caring for war veterans, including medical examinations and spa treatment. He expressed joy at the changes taking place in the country and wished everyone peace and prosperity.
