WEB DESK: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold talks with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan. The heads of the diplomatic missions will discuss bilateral issues, cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and other associations.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry announced, the parties “will hold an in-depth exchange of views on the entire spectrum of Russian-Armenian relations, cooperation within the EAEU and other integration associations in the Eurasian space, as well as current issues on the global agenda.”
Special attention will be paid to the situation in the South Caucasus, with an emphasis on achieving normalization between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Moscow expects that the upcoming meeting “will be held in a constructive manner, will help advance practical issues of cooperation, and will contribute to strengthening security and stability in the South Caucasus.”.
