WNAM REPORT: A delegation led by the President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency, Akihiko Tanaka, visited the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
At the meeting, the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Sadiq Safoyev, and the Japanese guests discussed educational programs, student and teacher exchanges, as well as cooperation projects aimed at sustainable development and solving urgent global problems.
During the visit, JICA President A. Tanaka was awarded the title of Honorary Doctor of the University of World Economy.
As part of the event, the doctor delivered a lecture to students on “Problems of Sustainable Global Development and Prospects for International Cooperation”, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts of countries in solving global challenges, including climate change, economic inequality and sustainable development.
