WNAM REPORT: A meeting was held between Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Azamat Abdraimov and Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Terhi Hakala.
During the conversation, Ambassador Abdraimov congratulated Finland on the responsible mission of the OSCE Chairmanship in 2025 on the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Helsinki Final Act and expressed support for the priorities of the Finnish Chairmanship in the Organization, aimed at resolving conflicts, easing tensions and building trust. The parties also discussed issues of current OSCE activities and preparations for planned events for the coming period.
In turn, Special Representative Hakala emphasized the importance of implementing the principles of the Helsinki Final Act, including the final declaration of the Astana Summit of 2010 and other key OSCE documents, as well as the active role of Kazakhstan in the activities of the Organization.
Ambassador of Kazakhstan Azamat Abdraimov presented his credentials to President of Finland Alexander Stubb. The ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace last August.
