WNAM MONITORING: Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan Atajan Movlamov met with diplomats from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan on Thursday in Islamabad. The parties discussed ways to deepen cooperation among Central Asian countries, Azerbaijan, and Pakistan.
The participants also explored potential avenues for realizing energy, trade, and transport capabilities, as reported by Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan.
On the same day, at Turkmenistan’s initiative, a seminar titled “International Year of Peace and Trust: Cooperation for Peace” took place in Islamabad. The event was organized jointly with the UN Coordinator’s Office in Pakistan and the Institute of Strategic Studies.
High-profile representatives attended the seminar, including Pakistan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Syed Haider Shah, Chairman of the ISSI Board of Trustees Khalid Mahmood, and other prominent experts in international relations.
