LAHORE ( WNAM REPORT) : Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF), under the leadership of Chairman Syed Qamar Raza and Managing Director Mohammed Afzaal Bhatti, has successfully carried out an anti-encroachment drive at OPF Housing Scheme Phase – I, Raiwind Road, Lahore.
This decisive action was taken to remove illegal encroachments and safeguard the interests of overseas Pakistanis residing in the housing scheme.
With the support of law enforcement authorities, the operation was executed smoothly on February 9, 2025, ensuring the removal of unauthorized access and illegal passage created by miscreants. The encroachments posed a serious threat to the integrity of the approved master plan and the security of residents, prompting OPF to take strict action.
OPF appreciates the cooperation of local authorities and law enforcement agencies in facilitating this operation. However, OPF management issued a clear warning that any future encroachment attempts will not be tolerated. OPF remains firm in its stance and will take similar strict action against any illegal occupation in its housing schemes across Pakistan.
The board and management of OPF sends a strong message to all encroachers: OPF will protect the rights of overseas Pakistanis and will not allow any unlawful occupation of its land under any circumstances.
The foundation remains committed to ensuring a secure and well-planned living environment for overseas Pakistanis and will continue to take all necessary steps to prevent illegal encroachments in the future.
