ASTANA ( WNAM MONITORING): Kazakhstan has designated the Zhambyl district of the Almaty Region as the site for its first nuclear power plant (NPP), according to a government decree, reported Kazinform on Feb. 25.
The country recently completed a dialogue with potential technology suppliers for the plant’s construction.
