It appears that at long last general elections are finally on the anvil The political parties have started filing nomination papers of their candidates and, likewise, independent candidates too have also done the same .Those politicians who are hopeful that they can win the polls on their own steam have decided not to contest them on the ticket of any political party, instead they have preferred to contest the polls as independent candidates.
