WNAM MONITORING: The Ambassador of Turkmenistan A. Movlamov visited the High Commission of Bangladesh in Islamabad where he met with the High Commissioner Mr. Iqbal Hussain Khan.
During the meeting, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan handed over to the High Commissioner of Bangladesh an official Invitation Letter from the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed to the President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Mr. Mohammad Shahabuddin to participate in the International Forum dedicated to the proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th Anniversary of the Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan.
The parties also discussed the ways of further expansion and strengthening of mutually beneficial relations between the two countries. They expressed interest in actively using the existing potential of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the region and beyond.
