ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT): Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political and Public Affairs, Rana Sanaullah Khan, met with Zach Harkenrider, Political Counselor at the U.S. Embassy, to discuss bilateral cooperation and mutual relations.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the United States has historically been a strategic partner of Pakistan, and strengthening ties between the two nations remains a priority. The recent arrest of a high-profile terrorist is a significant achievement and reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to the fight against terrorism. This development reflects Pakistan’s dedication to eliminating threats to national and regional security.
Acknowledging Pakistan’s sacrifices in combating terrorism, it was reiterated that the sacrifices of security forces and the public will never go in vain. Pakistan has consistently cooperated with the United States in efforts to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region and will continue to do so in the future.
Furthermore, the discussion highlighted that Pakistan’s economy and foreign relations are stabilizing, and the country seeks strong, people-centric relations with the United States to promote mutual interests and long-term cooperation.
