ISLAMABAD: ( WNAM REPORT ): Pakistan Post has suspended implementation of all recommendations, including conducting new examinations and interviews of employees, following the issuance of stay orders from the Islamabad, Lahore and Balochistan High Courts and NIRC against the implementation of the fact-finding committee report on recruitments.
According to informed sources, all circles of PMG across the country, including Central Punjab Lahore and North Punjab Rawalpindi, had urgently completed preparations for the examinations and interviews on Saturday and Sunday for the employees recruited in 2023 and issued roll number slips, in which it was warned that those who did not take the examination would be declared failed and dismissed.
However, now the concerned authorities have stopped this entire process and informed the DG Pakistan Post in writing, citing the orders of the High Courts and the IRC. It has been informed that the Postal Workers Federation has also obtained stay orders from the Islamabad High Court and the Nop CBA from the NIRC Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Multan benches. Member Hammad Hassan Randhawa heard the petition of Nop Union Circle Secretary General Raja Muhammad Iftikhar and suspended the departmental proceedings and adjourned the next hearing until April 22.
