WNAM MONITORING: NesilCoffee, owned by entrepreneur Tejenmurat Bayramdurdyyev, plans to launch the production of freeze-dried coffee. A company specialist shared this information with the online publication Business Turkmenistan during an exhibition dedicated to the 17th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The company will produce freeze-dried coffee, a type of instant coffee made using the lyophilization method. In this process, the company will freeze the brewed beverage at extremely low temperatures and then remove the moisture through sublimation in a vacuum. This method will preserve the flavor and aroma, making the product of higher quality than traditional instant coffee produced by spray drying.
The company has already launched production of five types of ground coffee — Espresso, Intenso, Classic, La Crema, and Special — along with four types of instant coffee — Caramel Latte, Vanilla Latte, Coffee Latte, and Cappuccino. The modern factory, located in the Ak-Bugday district of the Ahal velayat, is equipped with machinery from Italy and Germany.
The company sources coffee beans from Europe, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Colombia, and Guatemala. It independently adjusts the ratio of arabica and robusta, while its own laboratory carries out quality control.
The production process meets international standards, and the company has certified its products according to ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and Halal. The factory has an annual capacity of 4,000 tons and plans to increase this to 10,000 tons in the future.
Founded in 2017, NesilCoffee quickly became a leader in the industry. In October 2024, the company launched one of the largest coffee and coffee product factories in Turkmenistan and Central Asia, setting new standards for quality and innovation in the industry.
