ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad organized a solemn gathering to commemorate International Quds Day, reaffirming unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people in their struggle against oppression.
In his address, the Ambassador of Iran H.E. Dr. Reza Amir Moghaddam expressed gratitude to the distinguished guests and participants for attending the event. He highlighted the significance of International Quds Day, initiated by the late Imam Khomeini (RA) to stand against the injustices faced by the Palestinian people.
The Ambassador underscored the recent developments since October 7, 2023, citing the ongoing aggression and genocide carried out by the Israeli regime with support from Western powers. He praised the resilience of Hamas and noted that the Israeli authorities, who once vowed to dismantle Hamas, are now compelled to engage in direct negotiations with the group.
Praising the strong stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Ambassador reaffirmed his country’s unwavering commitment to supporting Palestine and Gaza. “With the grace and power of Almighty Allah, we will continue this path until the complete liberation of Al-Quds Al-Sharif,” he declared.
He also acknowledged the Pakistani government’s firm support for the Palestinian cause and commended the Pakistani people, media, and influential voices for raising global awareness about the ongoing atrocities.
Emphasizing the need for unity in the Islamic world, the Ambassador called for collective action to counter the aggression of the Zionist regime. He urged Muslims worldwide to raise their voices this Friday in solidarity with Palestine and Gaza.
The event concluded with prayers for the liberation of all oppressed Muslims and the freedom of Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
