Putin is a sore in the eyes of the US because he wants those central Asian countries to reunite with Russia which were once part of it and which were dismembered from the Soviet union by American CIA. A majority of Russians stands foursquare behind him on this score who feel offended at Washington for dismembering the erstwhile Soviet union .
Right from day one when Putin became President of Russia the western media has been spreading stories to the effect that he is suffering from fatal diseases. Ukrainian President too has said the other day that Putin is going to die soon and after his death the war between his country and Moscow will end automatically.
Needless to say that after the demise of Stalin the leadership of the Kremlin remained in the hands of very weak leaders like Podgorney, Kosygin Brezhnev and Gorbochev, to mention a few for a fairly long time who proved to be very weak.
