WNAM REPORT: Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva met with Oleg Malginov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The parties discussed prospects for developing multifaceted strategic relations between Uzbekistan and Russia, as well as enhancing inter-parliamentary cooperation, which plays a crucial role in strengthening bilateral ties.
In the context of preparations for the upcoming 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Uzbekistan, steps to deepen and expand collaboration between the parliaments of the two countries were also addressed.
Ambassador Oleg Malginov emphasized that the Russian delegation’s participation in the IPU Assembly underscores the strengthening of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia.
An agreement was reached to continue constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation in the interest of the peoples of both countries.
