ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, along with Secretary BISP, Amer Ali Ahmad, chaired an important coordination meeting with representatives of partner banks to ensure seamless disbursement of funds during the upcoming Benazir Kafaalat tranche. The meeting was attended by representatives from the State Bank of Pakistan, Bank Alfalah, JAZZ, Habib Bank, and other key financial institutions. All BISP Director Generals (DGs) and Zonal DGs were also present.
Senator Rubina Khalid emphasized the importance of ensuring dignity and respect for women beneficiaries during the disbursement process, stating that zero tolerance will be observed against any misconduct or disrespect at campsites. “We are here to serve our beneficiaries and ensure maximum comfort and facilitation,” she added.
Chairperson BISP urged partner banks to ensure the presence of POS agents, availability of cash, and issuance of bank receipts at all designated campsites. The meeting also explored innovative solutions such as app-based attendance tracking for POS agents and BISP staff, as well as the establishment of awareness camps to guide beneficiaries.
Secretary Amer Ali Ahmad directed BISP field staff to submit daily complaint and monitoring reports throughout the disbursement period to ensure swift issue resolution. Representatives from all partner banks reaffirmed their full cooperation and commitment to supporting BISP in delivering services efficiently and respectfully.
