WNAM MONITORING: The Institute of International Relations under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted an informational and interactive event entitled “Healthy Lifestyle – the Choice of the Young Generation,” dedicated to World Health Day. The initiative was organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Programme Office in Turkmenistan jointly with the Institute and the Embassy of the State of Israel in Turkmenistan.
The event aimed to develop students’ conscious attitude to health and safety issues, as well as to increase their resilience to modern social challenges. More than 80 students took part in an active programme, which included intellectual games, a thematic quest and role-playing scenarios reflecting key aspects of UNODC’s work – from drug addiction prevention to combating human trafficking and cyber fraud.
Interactive formats allowed participants not only to refresh their knowledge about health, but also to practically understand the importance of conscious choice in everyday life. The final stage was the creation of a code phrase from the symbols collected during the tasks.
The organizers expressed confidence that such events contribute to the education of a responsible young generation capable of actively confronting modern threats and promoting ideas of a safe and healthy lifestyle.
