WNAM MONITORING: The International Alysh Belt Wrestling Tournament will take place from April 22 to 25 at the Ashgabat Olympic Complex, announced Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bayramgul Orazdurdyyeva during a government meeting.
According to Turkmenistan’s official media, the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports established a working group that includes representatives from relevant ministries and agencies. Preparations are underway in accordance with an approved action plan.
The tournament is expected to serve not only as a major sporting event but also as a platform to promote the values of friendship and peace.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the deputy prime minister to ensure a high standard of preparation and organization for the upcoming international competition.
The government meeting also addressed other matters of national significance, with relevant decisions adopted.
