BAKU ( WNAM MONITORING ): Azerbaijan will become the first country in the Caucasus to host the Aviation Energy Forum 2025 organized by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The event will be held in Baku from May 13 to 15, Samir Rzayev, President of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), said.
Rzayev highlighted that the forum, organized with the support of AZAL, will focus on the industry’s most pressing priorities, including improving efficiency in the aviation sector, fostering innovation, and reaching the goal of net-zero emissions by 2050.
The event is expected to bring together over 550 registered participants, including representatives from more than 50 countries and over 60 airlines.
“Azerbaijan and AZAL are proud to host the Aviation Energy Forum, contributing to the global aviation agenda, expanding international cooperation, and reinforcing our country’s position as a key aviation hub in the region,” said Rzayev.
