WNAM REPORT: The fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Croatian Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation is planned to be held in Ashgabat in the second half of this year.
Preparations for it were discussed during a meeting in Zagreb between Ambassador of Turkmenistan Annamammet Annayev and State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Croatia, co-chairman of the Croatian part of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Croatian Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation Goran Romek.
Speaking about expanding contacts between the business circles of the two countries, A. Annaev proposed continuing the practice of holding business forums, as well as organizing trade and economic exhibitions of Croatian companies in Ashgabat and Turkmen products in Zagreb.
The parties also discussed cooperation in the field of tourism. Given that Croatia is known worldwide for its resorts and unique natural attractions, the Turkmen side proposed studying its experience and establishing close contacts with the relevant structures, as well as establishing direct contacts between tour operators of the two countries.
