ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) has strongly rejected India’s baseless allegations against Pakistan following the Pahalgam incident and expressed unwavering support for Pakistan’s armed forces, national security institutions, and all the decisions made by the country’s leadership.
In a joint statement, ICCI President Nasir Mansoor Qureshi, Senior Vice President Abdul Rehman Siddiqui, and Vice President Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry stated that although the Pahalgam incident is unfortunate yet India’s immediate attempt to blame Pakistan without evidence is not only condemnable but also exposes its consistent pattern of misinformation and diversion tactics.
President Nasir Mansoor Qureshi emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces, backed by the entire nation, are fully prepared to respond to any act of aggression with unity and strength. He asserted that the business community stands firmly with the armed forces and the government, and is ready to make any sacrifice for the defense and sovereignty of the country.
He further stressed that such baseless accusations cannot deter the resolve of the Pakistani nation. Instead, they only reinforce national unity. He called on the international community to take serious notice of India’s repeated attempts to divert attention from its internal challenges through unfounded blame.
The ICCI also extended full support to all decisions made by Pakistan’s defense committee in response to the current situation. Furthermore, the Chamber termed any attempt by India to revoke or disrupt the Indus Waters Treaty as an assault on Pakistan’s lifeline, warning that such provocations would not go unanswered.
On behalf of the entire business community, ICCI reaffirmed its commitment to stand shoulder to shoulder with the government and armed forces in defending the country’s integrity, peace, and vital national interests.
