WNAM REPORT: Today, the opening ceremony of the International Trade and Services exhibition and fair took place in Ashgabat.
The forum, which brought together 250 delegates from 35 countries, is taking place in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The event will also include an international conference entitled “Quality Assurance in Accordance with International Standards in Turkmenistan.”
Participants of the ceremony heard the address of the President of Turkmenistan to the participants of the exhibition and fair.
“I am convinced that such large-scale events will play a significant role in increasing international trade, improving the service sector and promoting environmentally friendly, high-quality goods that meet international standards on world markets thanks to the introduction of scientific and technological achievements into production,” the head of Turkmenistan noted.
The exhibition and fair is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, their integration into the international economy, promoting the export potential of Turkmenistan, and attracting investment in key sectors of the national economy.
Exhibition areas are dedicated to e-commerce, logistics, agriculture, consumer goods, industrial products and innovation.
The forum will host B2B and B2G meetings, which will undoubtedly strengthen business ties; participants will be able to discuss modern technologies, best practices and effective strategies for sustainable business.

- May 1 – from 10:00 to 17:00
