ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): The First Pakistan-Bahrain Investment Opportunities Summit and Smart Expo was successfully held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Manama, on May 17, 2025. The landmark event was organized by the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry in collaboration with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Bahrain.

His Excellency H.E. Mr. Mohamed Abduljabbar Alkoheji, Second Vice Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was present at the inaugural session as the Guest of Honour. The closing session was graced by His Excellency Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The summit brought together over 125 delegates from leading Pakistani companies, representing diverse sectors including Information Technology, Stock Exchange, Human Resource providers and Real Estate. These companies showcased a range of investment-ready projects and services, attracting significant attention from both the Pakistani diaspora and Bahraini business leaders.

Aimed at fostering economic collaboration, the Expo presented promising investment opportunities in Pakistan while also building confidence among Pakistani investors in the Bahraini market. The initiative highlighted the strong potential for bilateral investment partnerships between the two nations.

A number of Business to Business meetings were also arranged during the Expo. Participating businesses displayed their stalls as well as presented their products to potential investors from Bahrain. According to preliminary estimates, the event generated approximately $12 million in business deals, marking a significant milestone in Pakistan-Bahrain economic cooperation.
The event not only strengthened commercial ties but also demonstrated a shared commitment to enhancing regional economic integration and mutual growth. Organizers announced plans to make the summit a regular platform to deepen business relations and facilitate sustainable economic engagement.
