Baku ( WNAM MONITORNG): A side event titled “Middle Corridor 360°: From Geopolitics to Digital Transformation, from Family to Green Development” was held in Baku as part of the second meeting of the OTS Ministers of Family and Social Policies.
The event, moderated by Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Communication of Economic Reforms, provided a comprehensive analysis of the multidimensional nature of the Middle Corridor. Beginning with geopolitical stability and regional security, the panel also addressed key issues such as cultural integration, digital platforms, and energy security.
Addressing the event, Bahar Muradova, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children’s Affairs, emphasized Azerbaijan’s unique role in international socio-political processes, due to its geographic location, abundant resources, and alignment with global interests.
Among the speakers were Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Turkish Minister of Family and Social Services, Sadık Gardiyanoğlu, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ömer Kocaman, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkish Labour and Social Security Organization, and Member of the Azerbaijani Parliament Tahir Mirkishili.
Member of Parliament, Fazil Mustafa, and Deputy Minister of Energy, Elnur Soltanov also addressed the event.
The event concluded with further discussions on the strategic importance of the Middle Corridor.
