WNAM MONITORING: Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva highly appreciated the increase in the outlook for Uzbekistan’s credit rating by the international rating agency Moody’s .
“I am pleased to announce that the international rating agency Moody’s has changed the outlook for Uzbekistan’s sovereign credit rating from “stable” to “positive.” This is a positive assessment of the reform program being implemented by our President, as well as confirmation of the correctness of the chosen path,” wrote Saida Mirziyoyeva.
He noted that today Uzbekistan is perceived by foreign investors as a reliable partner that demonstrates its ability to achieve sustainable growth even in the face of global instability. All these efforts were reflected in the successful holding of the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum.
“The improvement in the forecast is the first step towards the goal of raising Uzbekistan’s credit rating to a reliable investment grade by 2030. At the same time, it is important to understand that the intended goal can be achieved only through joint efforts, increasing the competitiveness of our economy and maintaining macroeconomic stability,” wrote Saida Mirziyoyeva.
