WNAM REPORT: The delegation led by the Chairman of the Economic, Social and Labor Council of the Republic of Korea, Gi-Seob Kwon, visited Samarkand.
The guests became familiar with the activities of the Vocational Training Center for the Unemployed, organized in Samarkand with the support of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and talked with young people studying here.
The center hosted a joint meeting of the Economic, Social and Labor Council of Korea, the Samarkand Regional Department of Employment and Poverty Reduction, the regional territorial departments of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Federation Council of Trade Unions.
The parties exchanged views on vocational training and social protection of the unemployed, migration, and other issues.
The guests also visited the sights of Samarkand.
