WNAM REPORT: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a meeting with the Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs of the State of Qatar, Ahmad bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, during which the parties discussed prospects for expanding the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Special attention was paid to developing cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, finance, transport-logistics, energy, and infrastructure sectors. The parties stressed the importance of effectively realizing the existing potential, enhancing investment cooperation, and accelerating joint projects.
During the negotiations, the Qatari side was also invited to participate in the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum, to be held in Tashkent this June.
