WNAM REPORT: On July 2, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for the Republic of Azerbaijan on a state visit at the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the visit program, the second meeting of the Supreme Intergovernmental Council and other top-level events will be held in the city of Baku. The agenda includes discussions on further strengthening friendship, strategic partnership, and alliance between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
The President of Uzbekistan will also take part in the upcoming summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization, which will be held in the city of Khankendi.
