WNAM MONITORING: Expanding mutual relations along the business-to-business (B2B) line can play an important role in stimulating trade between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, Atif Ikram Sheikh, President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and the Economic Cooperation Organization Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECO-CCI).
He made the remark during his meeting with Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Khazar Farhadov in Islamabad.
“Pakistan is committed to deepening bilateral relations with Azerbaijan in all sectors. Expanding mutual B2B relations can play a significant role in stimulating trade between the two brotherly countries,” Ikram Sheikh said.
The official emphasized that mutual partnership within regional structures such as the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) is important.
The ambassador, in turn, highly appreciated Ikram Sheikh’s activities in his position as President of the ECO-CCI. He noted that business circles of both countries should take a leading role in expanding trade and commercial partnership.
During the meeting, the parties confirmed their commitment to strong economic partnership and agreed to continue close cooperation to unlock the full potential of bilateral trade relations.
