ISLAMABAD (WNAM REPORT: The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Y. Kistafin, met with Pakistan’s Federal Minister of Communications, H.E. Mr. Abdul Aleem Khan, in Islamabad. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the two nations, particularly in the area of transport connectivity. Kazakhstan emphasized the importance of developing and modernizing international transport corridors, especially railways, to boost trade between the two countries and at the regional level.
Pakistan’s Minister of Communications expressed interest in developing multimodal routes for efficient logistics, highlighting the potential for increased trade and economic cooperation. Pakistan assured Kazakhstan that it would complete the reconstruction of railway infrastructure included in the transport corridor project within the year.
