ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): Founder Chairman of Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry Muhammad Khurshid Barlas along with Rehan Sheikh, former executive member, met with Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan Alisher Tukhtaev at the Embassy of Uzbekistan.
In the meeting, the Founder Chairman informed about the first Made in Pakistan Exhibition and Business Conference in Uzbekistan which will be held for the first time in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan from December 6 to 9. In which companies related to textile industry, food products, electrical appliances, kitchenware/crockery, consumer products, footwear, household goods, tiles and ceramics, furniture and fixtures, gems and jewelry, marble and glass, sports equipment, service providers, fashion and fabrics, tourism and hospitality industry, handicraft products and other sectors will be part of the exhibition.
The founding chairman briefed about the successful events held in Pakistan and international events including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UK. Our aim is to introduce Pakistani products internationally so that business and trade relations can be further strengthened in Pakistan. And the country can move towards development. The current government is also fully supporting the organization of events.
Uzbek Ambassador Alisher Takhtayev appreciated the events organized by the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry and said that this initiative will pave the way for new business projects and partnerships. He added that the Made in Pakistan exhibition is not only an exhibition of products but also an important step to further strengthen economic, trade and social relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
The Uzbek ambassador reiterated his commitment that the embassy will provide all possible support in the interests of both nations to further promote bilateral relations. He said that we look forward to welcoming the Pakistani business community to the first Made in Pakistan exhibition, and we hope that this event will lay the foundation for a new era of close relations and beneficial partnership between Uzbekistan and Pakistan. This event will play an important role in further promoting economic and trade relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan. And this exhibition will prove to be an effective platform to further strengthen this trade cooperation. Finally, on behalf of the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry, Founder Chairman Khurshid Barlas also presented a shield to the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Alisher Tukhtaev. Former Executive Member Rehan Sheikh was also present on the occasion.
