RIYADH: Speaker of the Saudi Shoura Council Sheikh Abdullah Al-Sheikh on Tuesday met with the Speaker of Thailand’s House of Representatives Wan Muhamad Noor Matha in Riyadh.
Al-Sheikh welcomed the Thai delegation, expressing his hope that their visit would enhance bilateral relations, particularly in parliamentary matters, aligning with the aspirations of both nations’ leaderships.
He stressed the importance of exchanging visits and developing cooperation between the two bodies.
During the meeting, which was attended by officials from both sides, they also discussed various topics of common interest.
Matha thanked King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their constant support to Thailand.
He also praised the results of the crown prince’s historic visit to Thailand in November 2022, which contributed to consolidating bilateral relations.
