WNAM REPORT: The Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology held a meeting with representatives of China’s JDB Group Limited.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology, Ural Yusupov, and Deputy Head of JDB Group Limited, Chan Man Ying, discussed the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation. Special attention was paid to the issues of supporting entrepreneurial activity in geology.
Chan Man Ying highly appreciated the scientific-technical potential of Uzbekistan in geology, stressing that this cooperation will serve not only the interests of the parties, but also the economic development of the entire region.
It was noted that representatives of JDB Group Limited analyzed promising geological sites in Uzbekistan, visiting the regions of the country. The parties exchanged views on the results of this analysis.
Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry and the Chinese company to strengthen bilateral cooperation, providing for the implementation of joint projects.
