RAWALPINDI ( WNAM REPORT ): Hamdard Foundation Pakistan organized a monthly meeting of Hamdard Shura on the theme “Islam-The religion of peace and love” at Hamdard Markaz Rawalpindi. In her message, National President Hamdard Shura Sadia Rashid said that Islam is a universal religion. The word Islam carries the message of peace, tranquility and security. It is a source of mercy and goodness for all humanity. Allah Almighty sent the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a mercy to the worlds. He (PBUH) set a practical example of love, compassion and forgiveness throughout his life. A true Muslim is one from whose hands and tongue others are safe. The lesson of love is also a fundamental part of Islam. Islam teaches us that we should like for others what we like for ourselves. In today’s era, when the world is suffering from hatred, prejudice and differences, the message of Islam has become more important than ever. We should prove through our character and actions that through good treatment, tolerance and forgiveness towards others, we can not only improve our society but also set a positive example in the world.
Guests of the meeting Special distinguished scholar Dr. Shahzad Iqbal Sham and Speaker Hamdard Shura Imtiaz Haider while addressing said that Islam,is a religion of peace and love. Islam is the name of spreading peace and ruling the hearts of people through love. Islam teaches tolerance and love towards other religions. If the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) are followed, hatred will end and peace will be established in the world. It is a matter of great honor that Pakistan has achieved the honor of stopping the war between two big countries. Islam teaches all nations and societies the lesson of mutual brotherhood and love.
Other intellectuals present on the occasion also expressed their views, including Professor Niaz Muhammad Irfan, Professor Zahid Ali Qureshi, Tariq Shaheen, Tanveer Nusrat, Dr. Farhat Abbas, Naeem Akram Qureshi, Hakeem Bashir Bhairavi, Dr. Mahmood Ur Rehman. These intellectuals said that the religion of Islam is a natural act of love. Islam is a complete code of life. Peace and tolerance have a fundamental position in the teachings of Islam. Islam is the messenger of peace, the bearer of love and He is the protector of humanity. Let us understand, embrace, and convey his true message to the world so that this world can truly become a cradle of peace, tolerance, brotherhood, and love.
