WNAM Report: The Lahore Expo Center in Pakistan – Prof. Dr. Audil Rashid, the Director of Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at Gujrat University, recently engaged in extensive consultations with participants from China, Canada, and Hong Kong at the Science Engineering and Health Expo held in Lahore . This contact resulted in substantial advantages for both him and the university.

The event, renowned for its comprehensive showcase of state-of-the-art engineering and healthcare products and technology, has emerged as a central hub for global buyers and investors from around the world. The Expo aimed to promote international collaboration and business opportunities by providing a dynamic platform for Pakistani companies, including universities’ innovative and commercial products. It facilitated the establishment of networks and the exploration of new ventures, with a particular focus on engineering, mineral exploitation, and healthcare innovation.

The University of Gujrat (UOG) has expressed its dedication to establishing collaborations with Tech Solution firms in order to translate their research into significant innovation and marketable products. A notable aspect of this event was the commitment made by several Chinese entrepreneurs to enhance the worth of ORIC-led startups initiated by UOG. The objective is to progress and monetize Dr. Audil’s concept of investing in GreenTech and Sustainable solutions. This will be achieved through a program in which UOG, equipped with state-of-the-art research facilities, will allocate a research team to provide support to companies.

Dr. Audil Rashid enthusiastically discussed the prospects that have arisen from the 3rd EHCS Expo in Lahore. He hopes that partnering with entrepreneurs would not only enhance their dedication to advanced science, but also provide UOG students with top-notch resources and opportunities.
