ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, H.E. Reza Amiri Moghadam, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Government and the people of Pakistan on their country’s election to the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) for the sixth time, securing a resounding majority of 178 votes.
In his congratulatory message, Ambassador Amiri described Pakistan’s re-election as a remarkable achievement that underscores the international community’s continued trust and recognition of Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to diplomacy, as well as its efforts to promote and protect human rights globally.
He further highlighted the longstanding and exemplary cooperation between Iran and Pakistan in various international fora, including the UNHRC. The Ambassador expressed confidence that Pakistan’s renewed membership would open new avenues for strengthening bilateral collaboration, particularly in advancing shared goals in the field of human rights and other areas of mutual interest.
