TEHRAN ( WNAM MONITORING): Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran left Tehran for the American city of New York on Sunday evening.
Accoridng to local Iranian media, before departing for New York, Araghchi will have a brief stop in Doha, Qatar where he would potentially consult on the latest regional developments.
The visit by Araghchi comes a few days before President Masoud Pezeshkian travels there to attend the annual UN General Assembly meeting.
