It seems that like the Bourbons we have learnt nothing and forgotten nothing. Once again yet another bloated cabinet has taken the oath of office in the KPK. If this province could be once run by a small cabinet of five ministers for a long time what was the big deal in forming big cabinet now when we cannot make our two ends meet without foreign aid for which our PM runs from one end of the planet to another with a begging bowl in his hand. Why don’t we cut our coat according to our cloth?

Kabul doesn’t have that much money in its coffer to undertake construction of dams on river Kunar. It is New Delhi which is going to bankroll the said project. Border management at Torkham leaves much to be desired. More often than not after verbal exchange of hot words between those security guards deployed there on both the sides over petty issues the border is closed for vehicular traffic thus putting the stranded passengers to great inconvenience besides giving a lot of financial loss to the traders whose merchandise also gets blocked in the process. The powers that be on both sides of the Durand Line should take this issue seriously in order to ensure free flow of traffic through it.
