WNAM REPORT: Former President Syed Asad Mashadi Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Services to the Business Community
The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) successfully organized the 36th International Achievement Awards in a grand ceremony held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
The event aimed to recognize excellence in business, innovation, and industry, while promoting regional trade, investment, and industrial cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
The Chief Guest, Laziz Kudratov, Uzbekistan’s Minister for Investment, Industry, and Trade, presented a Special Shield to Group Leader and former RCCI President Sohail Altaf for his leadership role in addressing the concerns of the business community and advocating on key budgetary issues. He also presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to former RCCI President Syed Asad Mashadi in recognition of his longstanding services and contributions to the business community.
Distinguished guests included Pakistan’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Ahmed Farooq, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Alisher Shaikhov, and Trade Counselor Zaheer Abbas.
RCCI President Usman Shaukat, Group Leader Sohail Altaf, Senior Vice President Khalid Farooq Qazi, Vice President Fahad Barlas, and Event Chairman Shehryar A. Malik presented awards to leading companies and entrepreneurs for their outstanding achievements across various sectors.
A highlight of the evening was the recognition of former RCCI President Syed Asad Haider Mashadi, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedicated leadership and service toward the advancement of Pakistan’s business community. This distinction symbolizes not only his individual accomplishments but also the collective success and spirit of RCCI.
The ceremony served as a testament to the global achievements, collaboration, and progressive vision of Pakistan’s business community.
