SHEIKHUPURA ( WNAM REPORT): On the occasion of Christmas, government institutions as well as private organizations and philanthropists are also taking the lead in sharing the joys of Christmas with deserving Christians. In two events organized by the All Pakistan Pastors Alliance and Helping Hand Ministry in the Farooqabad area of Sheikhupura, ration bags were distributed to 1,000 Christian families.
Addressing the event, All Pakistan Pastors Alliance Chairman Dr. Qaiser Shahzad, Christian religious leaders Bishop Amanat Masih Nazim Ashraf Athwal, Pastor Akhtar Mash and other speakers said that Pakistan is the only country in the world where minorities have been given a new sense of belonging. In the homeland, all minorities not only worship with complete religious freedom, but also special arrangements are made for the protection of their places of worship and churches, their necessary construction and repair, and security.
On this occasion, Christmas cakes were cut by women and men and special prayers were offered for the development, security, peace and brotherhood of the country, while dry ration bags based on one month’s needs were also distributed to 1,000 Christian families.
