Jakarta (WNAM MONITORING): Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is set to deliver a keynote address at the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, as part of his first major global economic engagement since taking office.
According to the WEF’s official agenda, Prabowo’s special address is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. local time (CET). He will share the stage with World Economic Forum President and CEO Børge Brende during the session.
“At Davos, the head of state will deliver a keynote speech at the World Economic Forum, which is expected to be attended by 61 heads of state and government and more than 1,000 participants,” Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said on Sunday.
Prabowo will also hold strategic dialogues with chief executives from leading global companies, he added.
Founded in 1971, the World Economic Forum is an annual global gathering held in Davos that brings together political leaders, business executives, economists, academics and experts to discuss current economic challenges and future global risks.
