WNAM REPORT: The practical implementation of the President’s resolution on modernizing the city’s transport system has begun in Tashkent. The specially established Traffic Management Center presented a presentation on measures aimed at reducing traffic congestion, improving the environment, and enhancing oversight of public transport operations.
According to Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration, large-scale work will begin soon to introduce intelligent traffic lights, update road markings, and establish a systematic organization of parking spaces.
According to her, the city authorities are expected to ensure the full and high-quality implementation of the assigned tasks. The Head of the Presidential Administration also emphasized that she will personally oversee the project’s implementation.
