ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT): The first-ever fully cashless Eid Bazaar dedicated to women entrepreneurs was inaugurated on Wednesday in Sector G-11 of the federal capital, marking a significant step toward women’s economic empowerment.
The inauguration ceremony was led by Dr. Anum Fatima and Assistant Commissioner Ms. Rabia Aurangzeb accompanied by Ms. Samina Fazil, Chairperson of the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The bazaar features 50 stalls managed exclusively by women entrepreneurs, offering a diverse range of products for Eid shoppers. The event is open to all visitors, with no entry restrictions for buyers.
Organized under the theme “Women’s Eid Bazaar 2026: A Step Towards Economic Empowerment,” the initiative aims to provide women with expanded business, marketing, and networking opportunities while promoting financial inclusion through digital platforms.
The bazaar has been arranged by the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the leadership of its President, Samina Fazil, with support from the Capital Development Authority (CDA), the Directorate of Municipal Administration (DMA), and the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI). JazzCash is facilitating digital payment services at the venue, enabling all transactions to be conducted through cashless systems.
