The decision of PIA that it is resuming its London flights after an hiatus of six years is like a breath of fresh air. It seems that national carrier of this country is on the mend. Earlier Bank of Al Habib group bought it in an open bid in its privatization process. Arif Habib new owner of PIA is reputed to be a go-getter and it is hoped that he will bring it out of the woods soon. It is pity that PIA which once used to be included in the six best airlines of the world fell on bad days. Isn’t a fact that it was the staff of the PIA which helped assist formation of many middle eastern airlines which have been doing roaring business, lately while it touched its nadir.
POSTSCRIPT
Trump’s popularity has taken a nosedive due to his senseless middle eastern policy and odds and that he might flunk in the next presidential election of the US.
Both Iran and America will have to soften their hard attitude without which peace Accord between them is a far cry. The economy of many countries is already on the brink of utter disaster. Former presidents of the US like Abraham Lincoln, Jefferson, Roosevelt and their likes must be turning in their graves on seeing the self destructive policies of the present tenant of the White House.
